Where Opportunity Takes Root
Building educational environments designed for students to thrive
Thrive Schools is AAP’s long-term school partnership model, a five-year commitment to strengthening the environments where students spend most of their time. We invest up to $100,000 per school through resources, programming, and whole-child support designed to help students feel seen, supported, and ready to move forward.
Thrive Schools goes beyond one-time moments. Through our partnership model, we work directly alongside schools to provide the resources and experiences that shift what students believe is possible.
When students feel seen and supported, it shifts what they believe is possible.
Our Schools
Where we’re showing up.
AAP launched Thrive Schools in March, partnering with three Title I schools across Sacramento and Jacksonville. Each school was selected based on community need, strong school leadership, and a shared commitment to creating environments where students can thrive.
While every school community is different, each partnership is grounded in the same goal: expanding access, building confidence, and creating meaningful opportunities for students over time.
Dyer-Kelly Elementary serves a vibrant, multilingual student community, with many students bringing diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences into the classroom.
Leataata Floyd Elementary supports students from across Sacramento, many of whom benefit from expanded access to academic resources and enrichment opportunities.
Lakeside Elementary serves students in Jacksonville’s Westside, providing a strong foundation for learners from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
The Investment
Long-term support designed to grow with each school community.
Thrive Schools is not a one-time grant. It is a sustained, relationship-driven partnership that grows with the school and its students over time.
We work alongside school leadership to understand the specific needs of their community and build a plan that addresses them through dedicated support, consistent presence, and real accountability.
A student’s zip code should not define their opportunity. Thrive Schools is how we act on that belief.
Why It Matters
The research is clear. Consistent support changes outcomes.
Students in under-resourced schools often lack access to the programs, tools, and experiences that build confidence and expand possibility. A single visit or one-time donation doesn’t change that.
Thrive Schools is built on the belief that sustained, relationship-driven investment is what actually moves the needle. When a school knows AAP is showing up year after year, it changes what they can plan for. When students know there is consistent support behind them, it changes what they believe they can achieve.
We are not here for a moment. We are here for the long game.
